Open-bottom parachute floats – flexible underwater lift provided by FabriQ

FabriQ Innovation AS , in collaboration with Buitink Technology , offers open-bottom parachute floats – specially developed air lift bags that enable efficient lifting, floating and positioning of objects underwater.

These floats are used in the salvage of sunken vessels and vehicles, and are also a preferred tool in pipe-laying operations , both in ports and offshore, where pipes and pipelines must be lifted, positioned or installed with precision.

Advantages of Buitink technology provided by FabriQ:

• One single connection – the object to be lifted only needs one suspension hook

• Flexible and extremely durable material – coated polyester fabric (EVA/PVC)

• High tensile strength: 8,000–10,000 N / 5 cm

• Puncture resistance over 2,150 N – far above industry standard

• WLL safety factor ≥ 5:1 for the bags, ≥ 7:1 for the straps

• Easy to repair – with glue or hot air

• Low weight and compact storage – ideal for mobile use and field operations

• Minimal maintenance and easy cleaning

• Possibility of branding with the customer's own logo or label

Production and quality assurance according to IMCA D-016

All of our open-bottom air lift bags are manufactured in accordance with IMCA D-016 , and are delivered ready to use with complete documentation:

• Unique serial number and full traceability (production data, materials, batch number)

• Logbook with certificates and maintenance history

• Detailed user manual

• Customization options according to customer specifications and operating conditions
