Inflatable lifting device for trailer recovery – provided by FabriQ

When the front legs or outriggers of a trailer are damaged or fail, it becomes very difficult to reconnect it to the truck . The trailer must first be brought back to a horizontal position – which usually requires special equipment and manual effort.

FabriQ Innovation AS , in collaboration with Buitink Technology , offers an inflatable lifting unit that makes this process fast, safe and efficient – ​​without the need for heavy lifting or complex hydraulic systems.

How does the system work?

The empty lifting unit is placed under the front of the trailer. The unit is then inflated with air layer by layer . When the lifting pad touches the trailer, it gradually raises the front to a horizontal position , so that support legs or a new towbar can be fitted – and the trailer can be connected to the truck again.

Technical specifications and features

• Modular construction: 4 separate chambers, each 330 mm high

• Independent air connections: Each chamber has its own connection via quick coupling (Camlock)

• Robust construction: Top and bottom in aramid-reinforced fabric – resists wear from uneven surfaces

• Strength distribution: The upper part has pockets for placing aluminum profiles (80×80×5 mm) that distribute the pressure evenly on the underside of the trailer.

Manifold

We offer a manifold with five air pipe connections. Four connections to the lift unit compartment and one connection to the air pump/compressor. Below is a picture of a manifold (a manifold with nine connections is shown instead of five).

The manifold is equipped with a connection for compressed air and for connection to a petrol engine driven air pump (air pump can be offered optionally). Included in the manifold offer are 4 air hoses (length 5 meters each) with quick couplings to connect the manifold to the lifting unit.

Alternatively, we offer a special compressed air connection that can also be used for low-pressure evacuation (to quickly deflate the cushions).

The air pump

We offer an optional gasoline engine-driven air pump for the lifting cushion system. This makes it possible to operate the system in an environment where no electricity or compressed air is available.

The pump is equipped with a stainless steel frame and housing. Optionally, a "key start" can be provided. In addition, this pump can both supply air and evacuate the pads (just replace the connection to the pump).
