Pressure distribution pads for horizontal support under cranes – supplied by FabriQ
FabriQ Innovation AS supplies custom-made pressure distribution pads , also known as "sandbags", which are used to distribute the load from the crane's support legs evenly over the surface.
This is especially important when cranes are placed on:
-
Uneven or rough surfaces
-
Soft or vulnerable ground that must not be damaged
-
Areas where sand layers otherwise have to be removed after use
The advantages of FabriQ's pressure distribution system:
-
Effective pressure distribution under the crane's support plate
-
Gentle on the substrate – reduces the risk of damage and subsidence
-
Quick to place and remove – no need for post-work such as cleaning up loose sand layer
-
Robust and flexible – follows the contours of uneven terrain
-
Long life – durable outer fabric and quality filling
Specifications:
-
Fill material: Fine, non-sharp sand for optimal pressure distribution
-
Standard diameter: 150 mm
-
Length: Optional – supplied as needed
-
Customization: Other diameters and specific dimensions can be supplied on request
These pads are not only suitable for cranes, but also for:
-
Drilling rigs
-
Support legs on lifting platforms
-
Temporary structures and scaffolding in demanding terrain
FabriQ Innovation AS offers consulting, customization and rapid delivery of pressure distribution solutions for construction and lifting operations.

Bridging height differences
By placing the cushions at regular intervals or stacking the cushions, virtually any height difference can be bridged.
As standard, pressure distribution pads are supplied including a fixed canvas mat, where marks indicate different possible positions for the bags and their respective heights.
Possible configurations

Aramid fabric
Pressure distribution pads are made of extremely strong, flexible and smooth high-quality aramid fabric. The pads do not damage the ground surface and can withstand a pressure of at least 50 tons per m2 !
